Payment
A non-refundable deposit payment of 50% of your wedding package is required at booking, The remaining balance is due 8 weeks prior to your wedding day.
2025 Bookings we offer the following payment plan:
25% deposit
25% 1 year before
50% 8 weeks before
Damage Deposit
We require a damage deposit of £1000 when your remaining balance is paid 8 weeks prior to your wedding. This deposit will be refunded within 5 days of check out providing there are no problems or damages.
Access
Weekday Package:
Day One: You can access the wedding barn after 10am on the day before your wedding for set up. Please arrange any deliveries after 11am to allow for any holiday let guests to check out and leave the courtyard.
On arrival you will find all the chairs and tables requested for your wedding. The chairs will be stacked and the tables will be put up ready to be placed into position.
Our holiday barns can be accessed after 2pm.
The wedding barn will be locked by 6pm on Day One.
Day Two (Wedding Day): The barn will be unlocked by Holly or Rebecca (our resident wedding coordinators) at 9am on your wedding day unless otherwise agreed.
The barn will be locked by 00:30 after your wedding reception unless otherwise agreed.
Day Three: The wedding barn will be unlocked at 8am. The wedding barn, holiday barns and courtyard are to be vacated by 10am prompt.
Weekend Package:
Day One: You can access the wedding barn after 10am on the day before your wedding for set up. Please arrange any deliveries after 11am to allow for any holiday let guests to check out and leave the courtyard.
Our holiday barns can be accessed after 2pm.
The wedding barn will be locked by 6pm on Day One.
Day Two (Wedding Day): The barn will be unlocked by Holly or Rebecca at 9am on your wedding day unless otherwise agreed.
The barn will be locked at 00:30 after your wedding reception unless otherwise agreed.
Day Three: You will have access to the wedding barn from 10am – 6pm on day three unless otherwise agreed. You are welcome to have a small (up to 50) second day relaxed gathering in our courtyard and/or wedding barn. However, please note the barn would not have been cleaned from the previous day’s wedding celebrations. We kindly ask that any guests who are not staying onsite are to leave the farm by 6pm.
Day Four: The barn will be unlocked at 8am. The wedding barn, holiday barns, courtyard and carpark are to be vacated by 10am prompt.
Heating
If required heating of the wedding barn is included for your wedding day only. If you would like the barn heated on any additional days there will be an additional charge, this can be discussed with your wedding coordinator.
Catering
For your wedding breakfast we have a choice of highly rated caterers for our couples to choose from. Each of our caterers offer a bespoke service and will cater to any request, theme or budget.
In our kitchen area we provide stainless steel prep tables, power supply and water. We have one small fridge in our kitchen which can be used. Additional chilling facilities will need to be arranged with your caterer or private event hire.
Milton End does not supply table linen, crockery, cutlery or glassware for your wedding breakfast. This must be hired in through your caterers or private event hire. Your wedding coordinator will be able to help you with recommended suppliers.
All of our caterers can also provide evening food options however you are welcome to use who you wish for your evening food.

Furniture and decorative items
We have the following furniture included within your package:
200 x Cream Chivari Chairs
20 x 5ft Round Tables (seat up to 8)
10 x 6ft Trestle Tables – which can be used for a top table, gift table, welcome drinks etc.
3 x Whiskey Barrels
4 x Milk Churns (9 inch opening)
10 x picnic benches
2 x sofas in our snug area with coffee table
1x Arbour Arch - (97inches Width - 85 inches Height)
Licensing
Our standard license is 11:30pm for music & midnight finish for bar. A later license until 1am can be arranged for an additional fee of £500 subject to availability. We are only able to have a certain number of late licenses per year.
No bands or DJs are to be booked other than the wedding day unless otherwise agreed with Milton End.
BBQ Hire
Milton End has a gas BBQ that is available to hire over the weekend for £75. We do ask that it is left clean as found. If the BBQ is not left clean then a cleaning charge
will be deducted from your damage deposit.
Additional Cleaning and Laundry
We provide all bed linen and towels in our holiday barns for your guests on arrival. If you would like additional linen we charge the following:
Single bed linen including fresh towels: £15
King bed linen including fresh towels: £25
Hand towel: £3
Bath towel: £5
These prices are for Milton End providing the linen only. If you would like a housekeeper to access the holiday barns and change the linen for you this is charged at £25 per hour, per house keeper. A minimum of one hour will be charged.
No corkage drinks
Please note: We do not charge a corkage fee. Which means we do not provide staff, glassware, fridges, ice, water for the tables, jugs etc. Your caterer will take care of this within their service.
You are welcome to bring your own reception drinks, table wine and toasting prosecco/champagne within our allowance.
Your no corkage drinks will end after dinner service, when your caterers clear the tables. (normally after dessert or speeches whichever comes last). The left over bottles will be placed in the barn kitchen which you will have full access to the day after your wedding. We will not accept any verbal abuse to our staff or the catering staff by you or your guests and in the event this does happen you may lose some of your damage deposit.
We ask that you follow the drink allowance below:
Welcome drinks: Up to two welcome drinks per guest
Table wines: Up to half a bottle of red, white or rose wine per guest
Prosecco/Champagne: One glass per guest
Farmer & The Fox
(Our in house bar ran by The Bar Bros)
As standard our bar will open after your ceremony with no extra charge.
Our bar will arrange all glassware for the bar sales only.
If anyone is found consuming their own drinks after ‘no corkage’ has ceased this may result in the loss of your damage deposit.
The bar will have contactless card and cash payment available.

Camping
Our camping field can be hired from April to October (inclusive) for an additional hire fee of £500. This fee includes the use of our toilets and showers and up to 15 non-electric grass pitches which can be used for tents, caravans/camper vans or Bell Tents.
Guests staying in the camping field can pitch up the day before your wedding from 2pm and check out on the Monday by 10am for weekend weddings of 10am on the Thursday after your midweek wedding.

Wedding Barn Log Burner and fire pit
These fires can be lit for an additional charge. This charge includes a generous log supply for the duration of your stay including kindling, firelighters and newspaper. Holly or Rebecca will light the fire at your requested time on your wedding day and will ensure it stays alight.
If you would like to light the fire on the day after your wedding you are welcome to do so yourself.
Wedding Barn Log burner: £250
Fire pit (to be used within the courtyard on the stones only): £150
If booked together £350.
Please note we do not allow guests to bring their own wood.
Clearing up and Rubbish
Black and green bins can be found next to our laundry room. These bins are for the use of guests staying in our holidays lets only.
We request that any rubbish relating to services carried out in the wedding barn are placed in the commercial bins outside the kitchen door of the wedding barn.
All bottles/cans for your no corkage wedding day drinks are to be disposed of offsite by yourself or arranged with your caterer.
If you use an outside caterer for your evening food we ask that you inform them that all rubbish/recycling is to be taken offsite and disposed off accordingly by themselves.
Please take any flower/foliage displays with you on departure or arrange for your florist to visit the barn after your wedding day to remove this. Please ensure this is deposed of offsite along with any decorations used, Please ensure all chairs and tables (except outside furniture) are left inside the barn. These will be cleared/stacked by our cleaners.
Car Park
We have a huge car park with ample parking space for over 100 cars. Cars can be left in the car park overnight at owners own risk. All cars are to be removed from the car park on the day of departure by 10am prompt.
Please note that the surface of the carpark is uneven. You may wish to let your guests know this.
Heating
Heating is included within the wedding barn. Fires can be lit for an additional costs.
Decoration and Candles
Only enclosed candles are allowed within the barn. No naked flames.
Any decorations must be removed and disposed of offsite upon check out.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome in our holiday barns and wedding barn for a charge of £25 per dog. (Maximum of 5 dogs)
Umbrellas
We have four large umbrellas available for use.
Ceremonies
We are licensed for civil ceremonies at Milton End. If you wish to hold your civil ceremony here you will need to book this directly with Gloucestershire Registrar Services on:

We also have a lovely parish of churches within 2 miles too.
Wheelchair and Pushchair Access
We have removeable ramps which can be placed at our entrance. All of the barn is then on one level except for the wooden stage in the stone barn and the raised platform at the back of the main barn. There is a ramp to the toilets and an accessible toilet available which also has baby changing facilities.

Wedding Coordinator
Holly or Rebecca (Our resident wedding coordinators) are included within your package. Your wedding coordinator will become your point of contact upon booking at Milton End right up until your first dance on your wedding day. Their services include: Full review of all your current plans, several face to face planning meetings, unlimited phone calls, Zoom and emails. As well as comprehensive wedding day schedules, supplier recommendations, ideas, advice and so much more!
